Moth Electric was founded in 2023 by a long-time veteran of the effects industry with the express purpose of designing and building my ideal guitar rig, one unit at a time. My pedals are a mixture of ground-up designed circuits and expansions/enhancements of classic topologies. Currently 15% of net profits are being donated to civil liberties NPOs.

All Moth Electric pedals are hand populated and soldered in the U.S.A. with through hole components. While building electronics this way is more costly and time consuming than modern surface mount construction, it keeps a dying practice alive and greatly aids in ease of repair. All hardware used is of the highest quality (Gorva soft switching footswitches, Lumberg I/O and DC jacks) and is mounted outside of the main board. All Moth Electric pedals are wired for True Bypass and are built to last.
