M. stellatarum is a multi-mode optical tremolo featuring an all-analog signal path, 32 possible mode/waveform combinations, tap tempo with subdivisions and an onboard boost.
Four distinct modes of operation inspired by David Rolo’s ingenious design:
- Amp-Classic volume modulating tremolo
- Harm-Harmonic tremolo modulating high and low frequencies independently
- Bass-Low frequency only modulation, leaving your high notes unaffected
- Treb-Opposite of bass
Eight waveform selections provide a wide array of textures:
- Sawtooth
- Reverse Sawtooth
- Square
- Triangle
- Sine
- Hypertriangle
- Reverse Hypertriangle
- Random level generator
Tap Tempo with four subdivisions allows for hands free rate manipulation when playing live. Speed knob sets the maximum available rate for each subdivision:
- 1/2 notes
- 1/4 notes
- 1/8 notes
- 1/16 notes
Dedicated tone knob to dial in the sweet spot in each mode and to tame harsh or boomy amps.
Onboard neutral-voiced pre-amp boost with enough gain on tap to push your amp without overly coloring your sound.
Built entirely by hand with through-hole construction in the USA using the highest quality components available.
Wired for true bypass with top mounted jacks.
Controls: Volume, Tone, Depth, Speed, Sub, Wave, Mode
Requires 9v 100mA DC center-negative power supply, not included. Using a high quality, isolated power supply is recommended.
