Inspired by the legendary sound of vintage API consoles, the Marrakesh Drive Console captures their signature tone – thick, saturated, and punchy with aggressive midrange presence.
This versatile pedal offers several distinct ways to use it: a musical OVERDRIVE with two modes of natural, soft saturation; a transparent BOOST & TONE SHAPER to enhance your clean signal and EQ; a massive DRIVE & FUZZ for creating rich distortions and fuzz; and a unique CONSOLE mode that recreates the iconic API-style sound.
All this is achieved intuitively without additional separate mode buttons, etc. Simply turn the knobs and add or remove additional elements using the switches.
Built around a discrete/op-amp circuit, the Marrakesh Drive Console features a high-quality Baxandall EQ, three selectable saturation’s character, and a 9V/28V voltage switch for added headroom and dynamic range. Its refined analog design ensures exceptional performance across all applications, making it equally at home on a pedalboard as it is in the studio for tracking and processing.

DUAL CHARACTER: VARIABLE SATURATION
The Saturation switch offers two additional unique saturation characteristics: Hard, with more aggressive clipping and rich distortion (reminiscent of classic boosters and overdrives like the Centaur), and Soft, with smooth compression-like saturation (evoking associations with legendary pedals such as the KoT or BB).
Both additional modes operate through a specialized analog circuit in the feedback loop while preserving Marrakesh Drive’s signature “console” sound – tight lows and articulate highs.
This combination of authentic console preamp and musical soft-clipping overdrive creates truly unique sound characteristics with rich tonal nuances.

The HEADROOM switch (9V/28V) delivers increased harmonic distortion and compression at 9 volts, while ultra-stable operation at 28V ensures superior headroom for studio applications with a more powerful and clean signal. Our custom variation of the Baxandall EQ provides high-quality tone control for various instruments and signal chains, allowing you to adjust HIGHS & LOWS by boosting or cutting them.
