DEATH MUFF belongs to a class of medicines known for their highly aggressive nature. It should be used with caution.

Used correctly it can provide effective relief from gain and saturation related conditions, including Chronic Aural Dullness and Clean Tone Syndrome.

All Intensive Care Audio pedals are built in London, England, using high quality components and featuring soft touch, relay based trued bypass.

DEATH MUFF features 4 controls, there are therefore a range of available remedies.

  • VOLUME: Sets the overall output volume of the device. If you are unfamiliar with how a volume control works you should not use this medicine.
  • FUZZ: Is the primary method of controlling gain but works dynamically with CHOAS and TONE controls, as well as with your guitars volume control. Turning down the guitars volume significantly reduces gain and saturation and is an effective method of controlling the overall gain of your sound on the fly.
  • CHAOS: Has an effect on both saturation level and tone and can be used in conjunction with the FUZZ and TONE controls. When turned fully clockwise it has a gating effect on the guitar signal.
  • TONE: Controls the colour of your signal. From bright and fizzy to dark and wooly at either ends of the rotation. This control is very useful when dialing in different FUZZ and CHAOS settings which each have a small effect on the overall tone of the signal.

How to take the Death Muff:

The dose needed to treat guitar effect deficiency will depend on how low your levels of guitar effect are. Your doctor will advise you on the length of time to use DEATH MUFF. For adults this is usually 1-2 hours, twice a day. Using pedals after meals is recommended to avoid dizziness.

If you forget to use the DEATH MUFF, use it as soon as possible and continue to use it as normal.

DO NOT take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose as this can cause irreversible MIND BENDING (Mindbendinitis).
